Walking into something new—especially as a young man—can feel like stepping into the unknown. Will I fit in? Is this legit? What if I don’t know what to say or do?
At Remnant 300™, we get it. Your first night with us might feel a little different—and that’s on purpose. Because you weren’t made to stay comfortable. You were made to rise.
So if you're wondering what to expect, here’s your straight-up, no-fluff guide to your first night at Remnant 300™.
1. It Starts With Showing Up
Before anything else happens, the most important step is just walking through the door (or up to the fire pit). That move right there? That takes courage. And at Remnant 300™, we honor it.
No one’s going to call you out or make you speak. We’re just glad you came. And we believe—if you stick with it—you won’t leave the same.
2. You’ll Get Your Hands Dirty (Sometimes Literally)
We’re not a sit-in-a-circle-and-talk-about-your-feelings type of group (though we do talk about real things). You might:
Chop wood
Set up gear
Learn how to start a fire
Carry a ruck, move some weight
Laugh
This isn’t about proving yourself. It’s about building something—together.
3. The Word is Central
Every night, no matter what else is going on, we open the Word. Not in a preachy, over-your-head kind of way—but in a real, gritty, “this actually applies to your life” kind of way.
You’ll hear Scripture. You’ll see how it connects to the challenges you’re facing. And maybe—just maybe—you’ll hear something that speaks straight to you.
4. Brotherhood Is Real Here
This isn’t a group of perfect guys trying to impress each other. It’s a brotherhood of men and young men who are trying to live with purpose, push each other to grow, and stand strong in a culture that wants them weak.
No cliques. No fake stuff. Just guys who keep showing up for each other.
“Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.” – Proverbs 27:17
We believe every man needs sharpening—and this is where it happens.
5. Prayer, Challenge, and Purpose
We end the night with prayer—sometimes in a group, sometimes one-on-one. No pressure, but if you need it, someone will pray with you, stand beside you, and remind you: you’re not alone.
We might also throw out a weekly challenge—a Scripture to read, a conversation to have, a habit to build. Because we’re not just about showing up. We’re about growing up—into men who lead, serve, and live for something bigger than themselves.
What to Bring (And What Not To)
Bring:
A teachable attitude
A willingness to get outside your comfort zone
Respect—for others, for yourself, for the space
Don’t bring:
A need to impress
Judgment
Excuses
Just bring you.
What You Might Walk Away With
A sore back from carrying a ruck
A new friend(s)
A deeper question about your life
A piece of truth that sticks
The first taste of real strength and confidence
Ready to Show Up?
Your first night might feel unfamiliar—but it’s the start of something powerful. You’ll leave with more than you came with: purpose, brotherhood, challenge, and a spark of something you can’t quite explain.
That’s Remnant 300™. No hype. No gimmicks. Just real men, real faith, and real growth.
“Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.” – 1 Cor. 16:13
We’ll see you soon. And when you show up, we’ll be right there—ready to sharpen, support, and walk with you into the life you were made for.
