When you think of the word warrior, what comes to mind? A soldier in armor? A man engaged in battle? Someone with grit, courage, and strength?
At Remnant 300™, we believe that God is still in the business of raising warriors—not just for physical battles, but for spiritual ones. And He’s calling us to train and raise them.
But these warriors don’t look like the world’s version. They don’t fight for pride, power, or position. They fight for faith, family, and the future—and the Bible is full of guidance on how to raise them.
What Is a Biblical Warrior?
A biblical warrior is not just brave—they’re submitted to God, full of faith, and led by purpose.
“The Lord is a man of war; the Lord is His name.” – Exodus 15:3
God Himself is described as a warrior—and we are made in His image. Warriors in Scripture were disciplined, spiritually grounded, and courageous, even when the odds were against them. Think David facing Goliath, Gideon leading 300, Joshua taking the land, and Jesus facing the cross.
A true warrior doesn’t seek battle—he’s simply ready for it.
How the Bible Calls Us to Raise Warriors
The call to raise warriors isn’t just symbolic. It’s deeply spiritual, and it starts at home.
“Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” – Proverbs 22:6
This verse isn’t about behavior management—it’s a battle strategy. It means guiding boys and young men in identity, integrity, and intimacy with God so they grow into men who can lead, serve, and fight for truth.
“Be strong and courageous… for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:9 Strength and courage aren’t natural—they’re taught, modeled, and called out.
At Remnant 300™, we take this seriously. Every wilderness retreat, every discipleship night, every act of mentorship is about building men who are spiritually battle-ready—grounded in truth, clothed in righteousness, and sharpened by brotherhood.
3 Traits of a Warrior in the Word
Obedient to God’s Voice Gideon didn’t need 10,000 men—just 300 who would obey without hesitation. Judges 7
Rooted in Identity David didn’t wear Saul’s armor. He stepped into the fight with the confidence of a man who knew who he was in God. 1 Samuel 17
Driven by Love, Not Ego Jesus—the ultimate warrior—laid down His life not for glory, but for the love of mankind. John 15:13
Why It Still Matters Today
We’re raising boys in a world that’s telling them to sit down, be soft, and stay silent. We’re calling them to rise, be strong, and stand firm in faith.
“Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.” 1 Corinthians 16:13
The world doesn’t need more noise. It needs warriors—young men who are strong, steady, and spiritually sharp.
