Great turnout tonight. 25 men, young and old, showed up for Circuit Training, a devotional, and to celebrate Lance Sawyer’s 21st Birthday.

If we profess the name of Christ, then we are at war. Against principalities and powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6

We need more men like Daniel, Gideon, Samuel (Here am I Lord), David (Thy servant will go and fight this Philistine), Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Peter, Timothy and Paul. Daniel’s life was characterized by Faith, Consistency, Lack of Compromise, Prayer and Courage. Joshua declared “but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!” These men, though far from perfect and full of flaws, refused to let a wishbone grow where a backbone should be.

Each of us was born for such a time as this. God will use us if we’re willing and available.

Remember, David was raised a shepherd - until God made him a warrior.

We need to keep the faith, hold our ground, and act like men.

May we not shrink from our purpose!
